Built in the name of one thing: warmth. A luxuriously padded goose down jacket and our homage to the beauty of Norway’s glacial landscapes and Jöttnar’s brutal arctic heritage.

We set no time or resource restraints when designing the new Fjorm. Its complexity makes it the longest to manufacture of all our garments, encompassing the most individual production steps, and requiring more individual construction specialists to build than any of our other down jackets.

Built to overcome extreme cold and punishing wind-chill, we’ve had it polar-proven by endurance athletes in Antarctica, the coldest continent on Earth.

Filled with an impressive 275g of hydrophobic 850 Fill Power goose down in a heat mapped box baffle body to create extra warmth where it’s really needed. Our down stays dry 10x longer than untreated down, meaning continued insulation even when damp. This new 2024 limited release sees further refinement of the hood for improved visibility and packability on and off the mountain, upgraded internal drawcord routing and a full performance fit upgrade for better articulation.

Wear as your permanent outer when stationary or when your work rate is lower, or slip on and off over your shell during stop/start activities to remove any chance of skin exposure from switching layers.

The limited edition new Vista colour is inspired by the captivating ice caves of Norway’s Nigardsbreen glacier, with the name Fjorm derived from the Élivágar, the Ice Rivers of Norse legend.
